Great product, first time used on Thanksgiving didn't disappoint!!
I bought this for my 22" Weber Kettle, I have a 26" Weber Kettle and test fit it in as well & it fit fine. I spatchcocked a 13 lbs bird with a dry rub of salt, light brown sugar, fresh thyme and fresh sage, put it all over the bird and under the skin, then let rest for about 24 hours. Day of I injected the bird with melted butter, and put about 40 briquettes in the SnS, covered the drip pan with aluminum foil and lit a half chimney of briquettes, a small piece of pecan and peach wood and was off cooking. First cook was a success, as by the time I got to sit at the table people were devouring the turkey from the grill, not so much form the deep fryer and they were prepared the same way minus spatchcocking the fried bird. Next year it's only grilled turkey and another SnS combo will be needed. I cannot wait to do other cooks with it as it makes it much simpler to BBQ on a kettle. I've thought and debated a lot about a ceramic cooker as well, and if SNS comes out with a 24' like BGE XL or Big Joe I may consider it, but for now I'm sticking with my kettles.
