- Lid cradle keeps your lid safely off to the side and out of the way and also folds up to lock the top in place for carrying.
- 5 vent no-touch ash removal system for superior ash removal.
- “Smoke Hole”: 1 inch circular bottom vent provides more refined airflow control or for a thermostatic controller. (Thermostatic fan controller not included)

Improved Version of the Weber Smokey Joe
"This is the perfect travel grill, and includes some creature comforts that are missing from the Weber Smokey Joe. The inclusion of a Slow 'N Sear insert for 2 zone cooking, the improved bottom vent with extended handle, improved handle on the top vent temperature port, and smoke hole. I really do think the SNS travel kettle is worth more than the double the price you'll pay versus a Smokey Joe.
Good Quality Sturdy Grill
"I'm a newbie griller with some research and this is my first charcoal grill. I wanted a Weber but I wanted all the bells and whistles along with high quality grates rather than doing the mods so i decided on SnS Travel Kettle. Glad I bought this high quality grill so I can learn from my cooking and charcoal rather than a bad grill's mistakes. The charcoal basket is made of thick metal.
