This port should come standard on all grills (Weber) I just wish I would of waited and got the SNS. The port was easy to install and works great.

Overall good purchase, but my experience was mixed. Good: 1) well built, price is right given this is a custom designed piece 2) Tom Horsman video was helpful to get it installed Bad: 1) received my fastening parts (screw, washer, nut, etc) unpainted silver rather than the pictured black color. 2) shipping was $9 for this item which is excessive, given it could be shipped in an envelope.

Great add on to my Weber 22” Performer and Weber 26”. I do a lot of two zone grilling and measuring temperatures on the indirect side is a must. This port cover allows me to use temperature probes without without getting the wire kinked. Also allows easy access when removing the lid.

Works absolutely great. I added a small flat washer to the installation between the cover and the grill. Tightened the screw enough to hold it wherever I put it. Operation very smooth, and no metal to metal contact.
