Cooking Breakfast as You Should Be
Few things build character as much as crafting a strong charcoal fire and manufacturing a hearty breakfast for you and your loved ones. Incredible results - not only a tasty meal; however, my bread grows thicker, I sleep better, and got a promotion at work.
Thanks for your review, Blake! It seems like all is right in your world now that you can start each day with a wonderful breakfast. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
I Wish I had Bought One A Long Time ago!
I have owned an SNS for a couple of years now I really love it, so I have been thinking of purchasing a DNG for a while. I have been using aluminum foil under the indirect side of my kettle for many years, but there are a lot of annoying issues that have made me wish I had a DNG - but to be totally honest, I guess was too cheap to get one. Now that I did, I wish I had gotten one sooner. It is very well made and will probably last longer than me, cleans up easily, it??s 100 times better than foil for airflow, I??m not going through nearly as much foil (which is better for the environment and saves me money), and the sides are tall enough to handle to any amount of grease for anything that fits on a 22-inch kettle. I can??t personally comment on its use as a griddle because I have a cast iron griddle that I??ve used for decades, however, I??m sure it would be great for that purpose as long as I use it within the temperature range of the metal. Since buying the DNG, I have recommended it to my friends and family. That says a lot.
Good product and serves its purpose
Pan does have sharp edges and should be smoother. I had to use a file to smooth out sharp edges and file down points.
good luck using as a griddle
Drip pan, yes, griddle no. You guys have set yourself up for the bad reviews on this product as a griddle. I went through your instructions on how we are supposed to come up with the "goldilocks" fire when using this; neither too hot or too cold. First time because of the worry of warping I get a fire that looks like your photo and get a grey burger, no crust. Second time, I don't wait as long and I get a warped pan. Why don't you guys come up with a set of instructions with number of coals, grill temp, etc.? Bottom line this steel is too thin to take the heat variation. Expensive drip pan. There are other griddles on the market that can take the heat.
Perfect addition to your Weber grill !
This is the perfect drip pan and Griddle for the Weber Grill ! I wish I had it years ago ! Thank you.
