Slow ‘N Sear® Kamado Grill
The Most Versatile Kamado Grill on the Market
The Slow 'N Sear® Kamado gives you true two zone cooking or traditional one zone cooking - the choice is up to you!
What is a Kamado Grill?
Today’s kamado-style grills, based on a centuries-old design, are well known for their thick, insulated walls and excellent heat retention. Typically, coals are placed in the lower portion of the cooker and food is placed on an upper cooking grate creating a one-zone cooking environment. Temperature is uniform throughout the grill’s cooking surface whether cooking low ‘n slow or at temperatures 700°+ F for searing.
The Slow ‘N Sear® Kamado Grill has all of the sought-after characteristics of a high quality kamado cooker and then delivers MORE. When utilizing the patented Slow ‘N Sear® inside the cooking chamber, this kamado enables a true two-zone cooking environment that provides smoking and searing zones better than any other kamado on the market, yet retains all of the baking/roasting versatility you've come to expect from a kamado style cooker.

I've had my grill for almost a year now
My overall impression of the grill is "top notch". I've cooked Kamado style, slow and sear both slow and fast. Results have been fantastic. Customer support is exceptional. My only issue is that the grill vent is seized with creosote. It will not move. Will have to be replaced.
Fantastic Grill and Customer Service
Everything with this company and grill were amazing. I was eyeing this grill as a Christmas gift for my husband. Sharon was phenomenal with walking me through placing an order in time for Christmas deliveries given all the talk about supply chain issues and making sure the delivery date wasn't too early or late. She even worked through some other rebate items I came across. Whoever at the company reading this - Sharon is worth her weight in gold and deserves a raise! My husband absolutely loves the grill. Now that he's been playing with it for about a month, he says it's so easy to get to and keep the right temperature. He really loves the versatility of the grill too. There was/is a learning curve (it's not like cooking on a kettle at all), but we'll worth it! In less than a month he has tossed his kettle and electric smoker. Set up was relatively easy too!
Best cooking setup ever
The one thing that is the same for every cook so far is that the temp control was superb and the food was cooked perfectly. The meats are the juiciest I’ve ever cooked. Got the grill grates for fish and vegetables, and so far so good. Really pleased with the 22” size when cooking ribs, brisket ( that was the benefit of the oval vs 18”). Customer support has been terrific. My best friend got this Kamado based on my recommendation
So far not impressed
My SnS Kamado purchase is still fairly recent. I am learning as I go and am mainly interested in using the SnS in all modes of cooking. This cooker is well made. I’ve found zero defects or blemishes. Assembly and setup was easy. My only feedback is I wish the bracket that holds the easy spin grate had tighter tolerances. The grate is free wheeling more than I’m used to with the same grate on a kettle all for the sake of the cold grate technique, which in my opinion is tedious. Curious to see if this cooker will use less fuel in the warmer weather. My only turbo slow cook so far consumed much more lump charcoal than expected in 38 degree weather and required more babysitting than my kettle. The whole reason I purchased was to hold temp for 8 hours without fiddling and refueling. So far I’m feeling like I shouldn’t have spent that kind money. I haven’t used it enough to recommend it. Fingers crossed
Hi! We sincerely thank you for buying the Slow 'N Sear Kamado and for taking the time to share your experience with it. The grate is meant to spin easily and should not cause any functional issues. We apologize for any inconvenience with that. As for the fuel consumption, it sounds like you may have had the vents too far open. If the temp control/fuel consumption becomes too much of an issue, you can switch over to the traditional kamado mode for a while. That's one of the perks of our kamado; it is so versatile. With time and more practice, we really think you'll be pleased with it. If you ever have any specific questions or need tips, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are always happy to help! David himself may even be the one to assist you. Thanks again!
