Charcoal Cherry Picker
Move Coals Around with Ease
We’ve been searching for years for the perfect charcoal tool. We finally found it – AND put our name on it!
Where many straight spatulas and grill tools fail, the angled head of our charcoal tool is perfect for moving coals around in the Slow ‘N Sear basket. Whether stirring up coals for Warp 10 searing, or pushing remaining coals to the side to refuel during a long cook, this tool executes with ease. Plus, you get the fine precision to confidently pick up small coals (aka cherries) or pieces of wood.

A great tool.
This is a great accessory for any pit using briquets. I use it inevitably on every cook. It makes it easy to position hot briquets right where I need them when I'm using my slow&sear. And to stir up my kamado to empty ash. It is a great 3rd hand on all my pits.
Great idea. Well thought out product. Should work very well. But being made in China the quality falls short. Unlike the pictures I saw on the web site the one I got has a spread of 5 1/2". Not ideal for zeroing in on a small lump of coal. Squeezing the tongs is more exercise than I need. And for 17.99 I would have expected a single piece of bent spring steel to have smooth edges. These are a little rough and sharp as you might expect from a cheap made in China product. I am going put them in the vise and try to close the gap. Look forward to trying them when the snow melts. That said I still have to recommend the tongs. With the ofset t tips they should work very well.
We appreciate your honest feedback, Gary. Please keep us updated once you use them. Happy grilling!
